Designing One-of-a-Kind, Quality Scrapbooks

Paper Phenomenon was created in 2005 by a very talented woman by the name of Kathy King. Kathy wanted to share her unique handmade keepsakes, which are designed from the heart. Kathy believes that by creating beautiful three-dimensional home décor pieces that house unique scrapbooks full of your one-of-a-kind memories, your projects will become heirlooms that can be kept out on display and enjoyed day after day by friends and family.
Prior to launching her own very successful online business, Kathy enjoyed conducting workshops at specialty scrapbook stores as well as crafting big box stores, retreats and other crafting venues. It wasn’t long before she found herself designing for Cricut, by Provo Craft for their shows and TV events, as well as designing for many manufacturer’s trade show booths and Annie’s Online Classes. In her spare time, Kathy also became a published author and her book, Interactive Mini Scrapbooks, is still enjoyed by many crafters of all levels of experience.
Kathy began sharing her point of view on preserving memories through her workshops and on her blog. A love for paper crafting and home décor merged together and started her on a creative journey to provide quality products that fill the creative mind with endless possibilities.
With years of experience in the paper crafting field, Kathy has created many 3-D projects, home décor pieces, custom interactive photo albums and hundreds of educational classes.
When asked what is her greatest accomplishment, Kathy responded “Outside of my beautiful family and amazing son, who has grown up to be a wonderful, hardworking man, I would say my greatest accomplishment has been the patent on my Hidden Hinge Plus™ Binding System.”
Kathy’s passion for living and providing a happy life for those who surround her spills over into “Crafts & Laughs in the Classroom” where you can craft along with Kathy, online, and get swept up in her magnetic smile and contagious laughter.
When she’s not in her studio dreaming up the next unique creation, you will find Kathy surrounded by her beautiful family in the sunny back yard of her home in Florida where they enjoy spending their mornings playing with their fur babies.
Kathy is an experienced instructor, educator, and is a truly creative inspiration to many.
